The famous Eddy Brothers are stirring up the world with their controversial “spirit manifestations”, attracting peculiar guests to their secluded Vermont farmhouse. The play explores how we perceive death, the morality of mediumship, the nature of fanaticism, and the true accounts of the mysterious Eddy family.

DEVELOPMENT HISTORY

Second Sight was first workshopped as a one-act play on December 16, 2016 by Headtrip Productions at Black Box Theater, Castleton University. Castleton, Vermont.

Cast: Valentine Giesey, Ryan Mangan, Garret Robin, Kim Moyer, Julie Redington, and Maya Redington. Directed by Matthew Eckler.

On July 29, 2021, a staged-reading of the full-length script premiered for private audiences at Cadwell Family Farm, Pittsford, Vermont.

The full-length world premiere was first produced for public audiences by Middlebury Community Players on October 19th, 2023 at Town Hall Theater. Middlebury, Vermont.
